Job description

• Make customers happy with performant Tennis racquets
• Support in serial racquet development projects by participating in creative sessions and by contributing to all technical development steps
• Direct communication with production partners in Asia
• Organization of internal laboratory analysis of racquets and technical support of playtests on court
• Support knowledge management in R&D department through management of technical database and organization of internal racket research projects
• Close collaboration with our cross-functional development team with people from product management, design as well as testing and communication team

Requirements

• Technical degree like mechanical engineering, material science, plastics engineering or sport science and ideally experience in the sports industry
• Analytical and methodical skills and an idea of playing Tennis
• Creative mindset to figure out what adjustments would help to improve a Tennis racquet when playing it; user oriented development approach
• Solid MS Office skills (especially Excel); CAD, Matlab- and FEM knowledge are an advantage
• Business fluent English, German language skills are a plus
• Team player with a structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as an open and positive attitude
• Willingness to travel on a case-by-case basis
