As HSE Manager, you can play a significant role in shaping the standard in the area of Health, Safety & Environment at LCS. In this position, you are responsible for compliance and continuous development in the area of health and safety at work. Do you have professional experience in the area of HSE, do you like to work independently, do you live and breath safety? Then this is the right job for you!

• Assist management in establishing a HSE culture, which promotes participation by all personnel, including subcontractors
• Improve, further implement, monitor the existing HSE system within the company
• Report to management on the performance of the HSE management system and make recommendations for improvement
• Establish site-specific HSE plans, procedures and documents
• Compile HSE KPIs and statistics in conjunction with management
• Plan and conduct HSE internal and external (subcontractors) audits
• Ensure the undertaking of, or to conduct investigations and reviews of all incidents, accidents, near-misses
• Challenge unsafe behaviour and correct inappropriate HSE performance

Anforderungen

• Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety
• Demonstrated experience of safety culture management and a sound understanding of risk and regulatory requirements associated within the production and construction sectors
• Proven exposure to the development of a company-wide safety strategy
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Fluent in English and German
• Travel requirement
