Schoeller pro­duces hand knit­ting yarn, in­dus­trial yarn and func­tional yarn, that is e.g. used in au­tom­biles, air­planes, busses, rail­ways, ships but also for sports un­der­wear. The com­pany's fab­rics are used by MAN, Mer­cedes, Air­bus and Boe­ing for seat cov­ers, but also for heat­able cloth­ing or ra­di­tion pro­tec­tion. For the de­vel­op­ment of the world's first wool equip­ment with­out pol­lu­tion load, the com­pany was awarded with the state's In­no­va­tion Award.
