When spirit levels are used on construction sites worldwide, workers might be holding high-tech tools from Götzis in their hands. The company SOLA, based in Vorarlberg, manufactures the most accurate spirit levels in the world, and for the past few years, they have even been doing it with self-generated solar energy. The entire production of spirit levels is powered by 2600 m² of photovoltaic systems on the factory roofs. Last year, the team led by Managing Director Wolfgang Scheyer (pictured) produced 1.4 million spirit levels alone.
