distance warning and contact tracing for the analysis of possible infection chains - The Heron Group is a family-run, globally active company, founded in 1987 and based in the heart of Europe: Dornbirn - in the middle of the Austrian part of the border triangle at Lake Constance. The parent company Heron Innovations Factory today serves as a service provider in the areas of finance, human resources and product development for the four subsidiaries operating in the industrial and technology sector. The Heron Group has its origins in the development and construction of customised assembly machines. Over the years, this has grown into four independently operating subsidiaries: Heron CNC-Technik GmbH, Robotunits GmbH, Servus Intralogistics GmbH, SAFEDI Distance Control GmbH.
Heron Innovations Factory - The aim of the Heron Innovations Factory is to create and illustrate innovation and development. The building and the company culture are intended to show the effects that a fully networked factory has on people, products and processes from all aspects of Industry 4.0 and lean culture. The modular design of the building and the open and modern workplaces help to adapt to changes flexibly and dynamically like a start-up. The result is open and direct communication among employees and a flat hierarchy - from apprentice to company boss.
Additional Information
- People in focus
In addition to the high technical demands placed on the products, the Heron Group pays particular attention to the development of its employees and the promotion of their personality. The Heron Group recognised very early on that only those employees who are prepared to change themselves can initiate or allow changes. For this reason, it is particularly important to the company that the development of its employees is promoted with highly interesting and often unconventional development tools.
